Marketing Strategies by Digital Platforms 


Digital platforms have been witnessed to boom in the recent decade, and the success is rooted in their key role as a common agent that facilitates the interactions between consumers and third-party sellers. In this speech, some common marketing-related strategies by digital platforms (e.g., search environment design, matching algorithm, returns policies) will be discussed.


I am a professor at the Department of Digital Marketing, Beihang University. My research focuses on topics related to digital platform and yields publications in premier academic journals like Management Science. I am also a reviewer for Management Science, Marketing Science, Information Systems Research, and Production and Operations Management.
